Ingredients
- 2 cups blueberries
- 2 cups raspberries
- 2 cups blackberries
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Juice 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
Topping
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/ 2 cup (1 stick) frozen butter cut into small pieces
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Any type of cream or vanilla ice cream to serve the pie
Preparation
- Preheat the oven 350° F. Butter a Pyrex pie plate (9 inch).
- Carefully combine the ingredients for the filling and placed into the Pyrex
- In a bowl combine the ingredients for the topping. Add the butter using two knives or a pastry blender to integrate the butter with the rest of the ingredients, until resembles coarse meal
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the berries
- Place the pie in the center of the oven until berries are bubbling and the topping is beautifully browned
- Let cool to room temperature and serve with a spoon of cream or vanilla ice cream
Second Harvest Tarta Crocante de bayas de Primavera
Ingredientes
- 2 tazas de arandanos
- 2 tazas de frambuesas
- 2 tazas de moras
- 1 taza de fresas
- 1/4 taza de azúcar
- 1/4 taza harina de almendras ( whole wheat optional)
- 1/2 cucharadita de canela
- Jugo de 1/2 limon
- 1/2 cucharadita de piel de limon rayada
Cobertura
- 1 taza de ojuelas de avena
- 1/2 taza de harina de almendras
- 1/4 taza harina integral
- 1/2 taza de azúcar morena no procesada
- 1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla
- 1/2 taza (1/4 barra) de mantequilla congelada cortada en pedazos
- 1/4 cucharadita de sal
- Su crema favorita o helado de vainilla para servir con la tarta
Preparación
Precalentar el horno a 350° F. Engrasar un molde para tarta de 9 pulgadas.
- Con cuidado combinar los ingredientes del relleno y verterlos al molde.
- En un bol combinar los ingredientes de la cobertura. Usar dos cuchillos o un mezclador de masa para cortar o integrar la mantequilla con el resto de ingredientes, hasta obtener una textura de gránulos gruesos.
- Espolvorear uniformemente esta preparación para cubrir los frutos.
- Llevar la tarta al centro del horno y hornearla hasta que los frutos esten burbujeando y la cobertura se dore.
- Dejarlo enfriar y servirlo con una cucharada de crema o helado de vainilla.
