Second Harvest has been a reliable source of food for families in need on the Central Coast since 1972. But our mission goes beyond simply providing food. Second Harvest staff is a leader in food provision, outreach programs to educate and activate the public around community hunger issues, nutrition programs to ensure clients have the information they need to make healthy choices, and food security projects that look to the future of providing food sources for our neighbors on the Central Coast.
